Exodus Deliverance Temple....Our History

The role of a Pastor is not one that Pastor Clefrin F. Thompson assigned to himself. This was a divine call by Almighty God.

After much prayer and fasting and in obedience to God, on April 11, 1999, the ministry for which Pastor Thompson was called was finally established in the City of Mississauga. A quaint and old white village hall on 6970 Second Line was the home of Exodus Deliverance Temple for a little over four years.

Within months of the establishment of this ministry, Exodus was soon known as a
church built on prayer that embraced the wounded, the dejected, the rejected and those considered to be outcasts. Exodus was and still is today a house of deliverance.

In order to accommodate the growing ministry, in July 2003 Exodus moved to a larger facility at 6535 Millcreek Drive in Mississauga.

In December 2006, Exodus successfully purchased a facility of its own at 1180 Mid-Way Blvd.
Exodus – a journey, a called out people, freedom from bondage. With a strong emphasis on prayer, this ministry is focused on the many people who find themselves wandering with no direction and hope. Exodus strives to reach out and help these people develop into focused, faithful and fulfilled children of God with a clear purpose, direction and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer has been and still is today the focal point of this ministry in the City of Mississauga.
