What We Believe and Preach
At Exodus Deliverance Temple, we believe as the Bible declares in Romans 10:10: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” We believe the only way to eternal life is through faith in Jesus Christ according to St. John 3:15. We believe that Jesus Christ came not to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.
We believe that one must Repent in order for their sins to be forgiven. "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9.
We believe in water Baptism by immersion in Jesus name. "Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:37-38.
We also believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is essential for all believers. The Bible declares, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." - St. John 3:5.
We believe in God’s Plan For Salvation. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12.
Most importantly, we believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and all believers must be prepared to meet Him.
