The Essentials We Believe

THE BIBLE

We believe The Holy Bible is God's revelation of Himself to man. The entire Holy Bible is divinely inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.

SALVATION

3 STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Repentance     2. Baptism     3.Receive The Holy Spirit

This is the original New Testament plan of salvation preached and taught by the apostles.  They were sent by Jesus Christ to preach the remission of sins to all nations beginning in Jerusalem.  (Luke 24:47-49, Acts 2:36-39) Our Salvation is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets.  Jesus Christ himself the Chief Cornerstone.  (Ephesians 2:20). We are saved only by Grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

REPENTANCE

Repentance is the first step of salvation. It involves turning away from all sin and turning to God in faith. It is the initial step that begins your new walk with Christ, but it is also an ongoing practice in the life of every believer.

BAPTISM

Water Baptism is an exciting moment for every believer!  Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is the second step in the New Testament Plan of Salvation.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved (St. Mark 16:16). Baptism itself has no power to cleanse our sins rather; it is an outward representation of Christ’s inward Grace working in your life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is God himself living inside those who believe in Him and accept Jesus as their Savior.  God ultimately wants His Spirit to become an extension of who we are to help us become better and spiritually mature Christians.  By nature we are sinful however we rely on the Holy Spirit to mold us in order to foster positive qualities in our lives.  The Holy Spirit helps us to produce and build characteristics of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23). The Holy Spirit is our comforter, our peace, our guide and our teacher/life coach (John 14:26, Luke 12:12). Thus Christians are encouraged to walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:25) and be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18).
